Simple Thoughts From A Simple Mind

If you are a veterinarian, do not tell me you are a medical doctor when your son is a patient in my ER.

Dude.

Seriously.

I'm not stupid and I WILL figure it out. Rather quickly too.

(Nothing against veterinarians here. Don't get your panties in a twist.)

NEXT!

If you have admittedly stolen funds from your place of employment and then you are magically promoted............. you gotta be blowin' somebody.

Just sayin'.

ER RN,

Would you be interested in contributing an article to the March EMS/ER blog carnival The Handover?

This month's theme is "a learning moment" and could be anything you learned on the job that you would want to pass along.

Keep up the fun blog,

Happy

Ok, I have to say AMEN here. And how many times have you had someone come in and tell you that Sis or Mom or Aunty is a nurse and you later find out they are the secretary in the ER or have been a CNA for 5 years in a nursing home? THAT pisses me off!!!! I'm sorry, before I became a Trauma nurse and no longer had CNAs I will admit there were many jobs I depended heavily on my CNAs and they are priceless in THEIR JOBS! But they ARE NOT NURSES!!!! Don't discount my 4 years of nursing school because it was HELL having 2 children, a husband AND a job and maintaining a 4.0 (THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!)

That can also be said for Chiropractors. Puh-lease! I had a friend who's husband was a Chiro, and it was "Dr. & Mrs. this and that". Ok, what medical school did you graduate from?
